Whenever you change the settings in the sysop part of this external you need to do one of the following:
-log on and select the user external from the externals menu. You don't have to do anything else just select it and then exit. This will update the settings.
*OR*
-restart Hermes.
The reason for this is a limitation in Hermes. There is no clean way for a sysop external to notify a user external that the settings have changed.
